Hurricane Yas hit the Indian coast on Wednesday |
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, India is currently facing another hurricane and Hurricane "Yas" will hit the Indian coast on Wednesday. Due to low pressure in the Bay of Bengal, Hurricane Yas is likely to turn into a dangerous whirlwind by the morning of May 25.
The typhoon off the Indian coast could become dangerous in the next 24 hours and will hit the coasts of West Bengal and North Orissa by the morning of May 26.
During the storm, there is also a danger that the waves will rise up to 20 feet, which can cause a lot of damage, so the fishermen have been prevented from entering the sea.
A meeting chaired by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was held to review the preparations for Hurricane Yas.

The Meteorological Department said that the effects of Typhoon Yas will not reach Pakistan and it will not cause any suspension of Karachi's sea winds.
On the other hand, various hurricane centers have been set up in Indian coastal areas while many people have been evacuated.
