6 dacoits killed in alleged police encounter in Shikarpur |
According to DIG Larkana Nasir Aftab, police in Shikarpur launched an operation against the dacoits in which they faced stiff resistance. The robbers fired rockets at the police APC, killing the driver, an officer and a civilian.
According to police, 12 dacoits were injured during the operation against the dacoits while six abductees were rescued.
RPO Sukkur Dr Kamran Fazal said that the operation in Garhi Tegho would continue till the area was cleared. I am saddened by the martyrdom of the soldiers during the Garhi Tegho operation.
DIG Larkana Nasir Aftab said 12 people were abducted by dacoits and the market was in a state of panic.
