The reason for the decline in car sales came to light |
Purchases of cars and motorcycles declined in the country, with car sales down 17% from April and motorcycles down 12% during April.
According to the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association, a total of 14,435 cars were sold in Pakistan during April, compared to 17,105 in March. Vehicle sales were completely shut down in April last year due to the Corona lockdown.
According to the report, 333 buses and trucks were sold during April, which is 42% less than in March, while 1,101 jeeps and 1,697 pickups were sold, which is 34% and 17% less than the previous month, respectively. Purchases fell 19 percent to 4,501.
A total of 149,368 motorcycles and three-wheelers were sold in April, down 12.4 per cent from March. According to experts, the decline in auto sector production in April and the start of Ramadan also saw a decline in car sales.
