KARACHI: The Pakistan cricket team will tour the West Indies in July after five years.  Will compete in 5 Twenty20 International matches.

 According to the schedule approved after mutual consultation between the two boards, Pakistan cricket team will reach West Indies on July 21 after playing ODI and T20 series against England. According to the schedule, all the five matches of T20 International series between the two teams will be played.  


Different venues will be played in Barbados and Guyana.  The first two Twenty20 Internationals will be played in Barbados on July 27 and 28, while the other three Twenty20 Internationals will be played in Guyana on July 31st, August 1st and 3rd.  Will play a two-day practice match,



 After which the squad will leave for Jamaica, where a two-Test series will be played between the two teams.  The first Test of the scheduled series will be played at Sabina Park from August 12 to 16 and the second from August 20 to 24.


  Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Executive Wasim Khan said that the visit of Pakistan cricket team to West Indies has always been valuable and important. Caribbean cricket has a history of having the best sports facilities and the presence of inspiring cricket fans.  Pakistan last visited the West Indies in 2017, where the visiting team gave the best farewell to the most senior players Misbah-ul-Haq and Younis Khan for the first time in a 1-2 Test series.  ۔



 Interestingly, the two players will now travel to the West Indies with the coaching Pakistani cricket team. Misbah-ul-Haq will be part of the Pakistani squad as head coach and Younis Khan will be part of the Pakistani squad as batting coach.


  This will be the ninth Test series, with four wins for the host team and one for the visiting team. The test record of both the teams at Sabina Park is tied at 2-2.  Out of the four Test matches played here, Pakistan won 2 and West Indies won 2. So far in the three T20 series played in West Indies, Pakistan is leading 1-2.
