Abu Dhabi: The South African players participating in the sixth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) have reached Abu Dhabi on a commercial flight where all the players will now be quarantined.

According to the details, Pakistani cricketer Muhammad Nawaz is also among those who have reached Abu Dhabi while South Africa's Faf Diplose, David Miller, Cameron Delport, Riley Russo and Herschelle Gibbs have also reached Abu Dhabi.

According to sources, Johnson Charles and Darren Sammy of West Indies have left New York for Abu Dhabi while passengers from South Africa who are part of the broadcast crew have also left for the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

It is to be noted that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to hold the remaining matches of the sixth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) in UAE which has been postponed due to corona virus this year for which all preparations are complete.  ۔

The men who arrived in Abu Dhabi were once again in danger of holding the league due to non-issuance of visas.

However, due to the intervention of Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, the Emirati authorities allowed the broadcasters of South Africa and India to land in Abu Dhabi.
