Pakistan and Zimbabwe will play Test series after 8 years. |
Harare (Jasarat News) Pakistan has played a big role in the Test matches played between Pakistan and Zimbabwe so far. In the 17 Test matches played between the two teams from 1993 to 2013, Pakistan won 10 and Zimbabwe 3 while 4 Tests were drawn. Almost eight years later, a test series is taking place between the two teams. Pakistan last visited Misbah-ul-Haq's Zimbabwe in September 2013 and the two-Test series ended in a 1-1 draw. Zimbabwe won the first match by 24 runs while Pakistan won the second Test by 221 runs. The first match of the two-Test series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe will start at Harare Sports Club on Thursday. Earlier, Pakistan beat the hosts 2-1 in a three-match T20I series. It should be noted that the first Test of the series between the two teams will be played from Thursday, May 3, while the second Test will be played from May 7 to 11.
