Broilers broke recent records of lower prices for cheaper meat |
For the past several days, the price of broiler chicken meat has been on the rise, but today the price of chicken meat has been reduced to a record low.
According to the details, after a historic increase in the price of chicken meat, a record reduction was finally given. In a single day, chicken meat became cheaper by Rs. 67, after which the price of live chicken was fixed at Rs. Done.
It may be recalled that the price of chicken meat was also reduced by Rs 30 per kg yesterday, after which the price of chicken meat in the city was reduced from Rs 432 to Rs 402 per kg. In the last two days, the price of chicken meat was reduced to Rs 50 per kg. Now again in one day, chicken meat became cheaper by Rs. 67.
For the past several days, not only consumers but also vendors have been saying that due to the high price of meat, the trend of buying by consumers has decreased. The reason for the instability in the price is the lockdown. Unless the government intervenes, the price of chicken will not stabilize.
On the other hand, the district administration had recently taken steps to normalize the prices of chicken. The administration claimed to have normalized prices within 15 days. It was decided to compile data on production of chickens, production of control sheds and feed mills. Chicken prices had risen by Rs 200 per kg in 90 days.
The Livestock Department was tasked with compiling all the details. The major reduction in the price of meat may be the result of these efforts. But citizens say there should be a further reduction in poultry meat as meat is still very expensive.
