(Faran Yamin) With the easing of the lockdown, the prices of broiler meat have gone up, with an increase of Rs 2 to Rs 434 per kg.


 According to the details, the price of broiler meat did not decrease even today but increased. The price of broiler meat increased by Rs 2 and was sold at Rs 434. This week, the overall price of broiler meat increased by Rs 26.  Buyers say the sudden rise in meat prices is beyond their comprehension. There was a chicken that was cheap and the poor used it as a table decoration, but now it has become more expensive.  Buyers say rising meat prices are beyond their comprehension, not only consumers but also shopkeepers are worried about rising prices. Vendors say customers do not come to buy such expensive meat which affects their sales.  Lying down, sitting idle all day, very few customers come.


 It may be mentioned that chicken meat was sold at Rs 434 per kg after an increase of Rs 5 per kg yesterday. In the last three days, the price of broiler chicken meat was increased by Rs 24.


 It may be recalled that the federal government has decided to increase the prices of electricity, the federal cabinet has approved an increase of Rs 72 paise per unit, the federal cabinet has approved the summary through circulation, sources said.  Approval has been given to increase the cost of various quarterly adjustments.


 It has been approved to increase the price of electricity by 82 paisa per unit in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2012, and by 90 paisa per unit in the first and second quarter adjustments of the financial year.  Sources said that the increase in electricity prices will be implemented from October this year
