First ODI: Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka by 33 runs |
Bangladesh decided to field after winning the toss against Sri Lanka which proved to be better for them.
According to the French news agency, Bangladesh sniper Mehdi Hassan Mirza has taken four wickets in the match in Dhaka.
Mehdi Hassan Mirza bowled four wickets for 30 runs in 10 overs and helped Sri Lanka reach 224 runs before reaching the target of 258 runs.
Sri Lankan batsman Vanindu Hasaranga scored 74 off 60 balls. Mustafizur Rehman took three wickets while Muhammad Saifuddin took two wickets.
Mushfiqur Rehman scored 84 and Mahmudullah Riaz 54 runs. Mushfiqur Rehman was declared man of the match.
The second match between the two teams will be played in Dhaka on Tuesday
